About Us
The International Workers' Compensation Foundation (IWCF) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to workers' compensation education and outreach. It is not tied to the perspective of any interest group and is funded out of the proceeds of educational conferences conducted in cooperation with state workers' compensation agencies.
IWCF conferences allow employees, employers, medical and rehabilitation providers, insurance carriers, third party administrators, attorneys, service providers, human resources and safety professionals, and anyone with an interest in workers' compensation, to keep abreast of each state's requirements. The goal is to educate those who participate in each state's workers' compensation system regarding current rules, procedures, policies, and forms, and to create opportunity for dialogue among these participants. Special speakers from each state give important information to the attendees. In turn, conference participants have opportunities to interact informally with senior agency staff and others who are active in the host state workers' compensation system.
